Do you want to make holes in your knitting... on purpose? Do we have a class for you! Join us for this beginning lace class, and learning how to knit the Gothic Lace Cowl by Tin Can Knits (www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/gothic-lace-cowl). This beginning lace class will guide you through all the lace knitting basics you need to complete this lovely cowl, including basic knitted lace increases and decreases, reading lace charts, how to read your knitting, and how to use lifelines. Students will receive a 10% on all materials purchased for the class.
Skills needed: this is a beginning class, but students should already know how to cast on, knit, purl, and cast off.
Materials needed:
Come to class with garter stitch section of this cowl completed so we can start knitting lace in class. To do this, cast on 49 stitches and then knit 8 rows.
