Cabled Mug Cozy - Last Minute Gift Mini Class
Needing a last minute handmade gift. Come to Northwest Yarns and learn to make cabled mug cozies!!!
Mug cozies are a beautiful gift to give to friends and family, especially when paired with a nice mug and some good coffee, tea, or cocoa. Learn how to make your own lovely, cabled mug cozy in this two-hour class with Echo Mae. She will be teaching this mini class on Saturday, December 8th from 1-3pm. Sign-up using the ticket link on this event, or stop by the shop to sign-up.
This is a class for knitters of all skill levels! However, students will need to know the four knitting basics before taking this class: how to cast on, knit, purl, and cast off. Not sure how to do those, or need a refresher? Stop by for our free basic knitting class, offered at the shop every Wednesday at 4pm, and we'll show you how! Students will receive 10% off materials for the class.
Students will need to bring or purchase in the shop before class:
-- a pair of size 9 knitting needles
-- a spare knitting needle or a cable needle
-- a skein of worsted weight yarn (we recommend a 100% wool superwash yarn, but any worsted weight yarn will do just fine). Ella Rae worsted weight, superwash yarn was used for the mug cozy in the event photo.
