Northwest Yarns Cardigan Class & Knit-A-Long

Skill Level: For Advanced Beginners to Experts

Ready to advance your knitting into the world of sweaters? You’re already there and would like to learn professional fitting and finishing techniques? In this class you will make a basic, worsted-weight V-neck cardigan. The pattern will be included in your class fee. 

$120 class fee for 6 – 2 hour long classes and 3 Bonus Knit-A-Long times with instructor.
Minimum students: 5

Materials Required:

  • Worsted Weight Yarn to give you a gauge of 5 stitches to one inch in the following amounts: Finished bust size 36 (40, 44, 48) (52, 56, 60)” = 1,235 (1,482, 1,729, 1,976) (2,223, 2,470, 2,717) yards
  • US size 7 needles or size to get gauge as well as a needle 2 sizes smaller for ribbing
  • 32” circular needle in smaller size for button band
  • 6-8 buttons (we can choose these later, not needed before class)
  • Your knitting tool kit
  • A sweater that fits you well to use for a size estimate
  • Seven Things that can “Make or Break” a Sweater by Margaret Fisher
