State Sponsored Retirement Plans:
What you need to knowPlease join Lisa Massena, Executive Director of Oregon's new initiative "Oregon Retirement Savings Plan" for an informative session on the new programs the State of Oregon will be rolling out this year.
All employers who are not offering an employer sponsored retirement plan will need to participate in the new program coming out later this year. Currently, there are about one million of the working population of Oregon who are not being offered an employer plan for their retirement savings.
Why does this matter to you?
- Soon thousands of new savers will have questions about this plan and want to talk to an expert.
- All employers will need to act: either clarifying they have a plan or registering with the state's plan. Some may decide to start a plan of their own and seek assistance.
