Event Details

Purdue University TAP/MEP's Six-Sigma White Belt workshop prepares you to be well-grounded in an awareness of successful Six Sigma deployment. Our training tools and methodology area a widely accepted industry standard!

After completing this high-impact program, you can become a qualified team member of a Green Belt or Black Belt Project Team. Even if this is the only belt you obtain, you'll be a better participant and supporter of any Six Sigma project that you participate in.

At the completion of this training program, you will:

  • Understand and define the quality philosophy of Six Sigma and DMAIC;
  • Identify benefits and objectives of Six Sigma;
  • Be able to outline the Six Sigma implementation process;
  • Identify the DMAIC process;
  • Demonstrate the differences between discrete or continuous data;
  • Define the costs of poor quality (COPQ);
  • Identify a capable process vs. non-capable process; and
  • Define the applications of statistical techniques to solve business related problems.
