Speaker: Todd Parker - Arrmaz
This technical presentation will discuss the unique challenges of carbonate-containing phosphate flotation, and explore different flowsheets, reagent schemes and flotation processes proven to improve grade and recovery of phosphate deposits across the globe, focusing on a solution for Florida dolomitic pebble and attempt to quantify the value of dolomite rejection for fertilizer production.
Starting his career in the mining industry as a metallurgist, Todd’s past 25 years in the industrial minerals industry has focused on improving the flotation process and the chemicals used for mineral beneficiation. His expertise combining flow sheet design and flotation reagent formulation creates the best utilization of technology and delivers the greatest value to mineral processors. Having a background in phosphate, silica, feldspar, calcium carbonate, kaolin, and most carbonate/oxide mineral flotation, Todd has experience in product management and technical sales for float plants in North America, Europe, Brazil, China, North Africa and the Middle East.
As Global Marketing Manager of Mining Chemicals, Todd creates strategic/commercial plans and manages the innovation process for ArrMaz’s mining business units. He is active in the Society for Mining Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) and recently chaired their regional conference- Industrial Minerals for Agriculture
