Join the Mt. Zion family for our 2nd Annual Family Conference.  General Assembly each night with Rev. Jeffrey A. Johnson, Sr., Senior Pastor of Eastern Star Church, Indiapolis, In.  We also have a dynamic line-up of for our break-out sessions that include Rev. Clyde Williams, Robin May and Min. Tyler J. Green.  These dynamic speakers will provide spiritual fortitude as they reveal what it takes to be "God's Divine Family."  

Services begin nightly at 7:00 PM.  Rushing home from work, don't worry, we will be offering prepared meals for your convenience, at the low cost of $8.00 each. Serving time will be 5:30 PM until 6:30 PM, nightly on the second floor   We also will have conference t-shirts on sale (pre-order only).

         About Our Guest Speakers

 Reverend Jeffrey Johnson, Sr. , Senior Pastor of Eastern Star Church, in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a spirit-filled preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  He accepted his call to ministry at the age of 17.  A native of Indianapolis, he graduated from Arlington High School.  He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion from Bishop College in Dallas, Texas, graduating with honors.  He later attended Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Pastor Johnson accepted his call to pastor Eastern Star Church in 1988, at the age of 25.  Under his leadership, the congregation has grown to over 10,000 members.  Eastern Star Church is “One Church in Three Locations”, it has over 100 full and part-time employees and 30 active ministries.  JEWEL (“Where Jesus is Exalted, and the Word is ExpLained.”) Ministry, its radio, television and online outreach, reaches more than one million people weekly.

In August 2007, Pastor Johnson launched Kingdom Word Ministries and published his first book and study guide entitled, “Song of Solomon: Love, Sex and Relationships”.  Since then, he has published four additional books: “Making A Comeback: Reclaiming Our Lives In Christ” (2008), Life Illustrated: Daily Thoughts For Your Daily Walk” (2009), “Dialogue with My Daughters” book and devotional journal (2011).  His latest book, “Dialogue with My Sons” (2013). 

Johnson has served as the Assistant Chaplain of the Indiana Pacers and has served on numerous boards in the community.  A devoted husband and dedicated family man, he is married to Sharon Henry Johnson and is the loving father of four sons, Jeffrey Allen, II, Jordan Adam, Jalon Alexander and Josiah Andrew.  God has certainly laid His hands on the life and ministry of Reverend Jeffrey A. Johnson, Sr.

     Reverend Clyde Williams has spent many years of faithful service as a Youth Bible Study instructor, Baptist Training Union Director and Drill Team Coordinator. Rev. Williams formerly served as a Site Director of the GSP Recovery Ministry, where men who find themselves in a transitional period of their lives could come and re­ceive housing and assistance to recover their lives. He currently serves as Pastor of Greater St. Paul M.B. Church and President of United Hands Ministries. 

At last year's conference the men were blessed to have Williams guide them in our workshops on how to heal from broken relationships, and bitterness and anger.  Be prepared for his next steps on God's plan for the man's role in the family.

Born in Mt. Olive Mississippi to Mrs. Willie B. Williams and Rev. Freddie Williams of the Greater St. Paul M.B.C., he and his wife of 24 years, Faith Williams, have two daughters and one grandson.

  Robin May  Focused on empowering people to live life according to the way God creatively crafted them, Robin May is passionate about supporting those who’ve decided that the status quo is no longer enough in their life and or their relationships. 

Robin is the author of several books including, “Before You Take His Name”, “The 30 – Day Intentional Intimacy Project * For Married Women!” and “Prioritizing your Purpose”. Robin currently serves as a mental health therapist, a Life Coach and speaker. Robin is the founder of the social networking site, IBelieveInMarriage.com, where individuals and couples gather to discuss, learn and encourage one another about building a healthy relationship! She is also the founder of “Friends with Vision“, another powerful networking organization for women who believe in living their lives with purpose and on purpose! Robin’s life changing advice has been featured in Essence Magazine, the Rickey Smiley Show and weekly on Radio One’s Gospel Station – Praise 102.5, the K.D. Bowe Show where Robin is the featured life 
coach. 

May is married to her college sweetheart Elder Lee May and is a proud mother of two beautiful daughters: Ryann Kimberly, Reagan Leanne and the couple is anxiously awaiting the birth of their 3rd  daughter. 

Minister Tyler Joshua Green is a man of moral aptitude, old fashioned wisdom, a reverence for God and a love for the people. He is a young man that stands with articulatory agility that has developed an ability to utter the sentiments of God to the people. He is an illustrative raconteur, carrying the mantle of his pastor and mentor Dr. Jeffrey A. Johnson Sr. Currently, TJ is a senior honors student at Clark Atlanta University, pursuing a degree in Philosophy and Religion where he has maintained a Dean's list standing since his freshman beginning. Throughout the years, TJ has made great strides in social, scholarly and spiritual endeavors. He is Clark Atlanta University's 2011/2012 Man of the Year, the Chaplain of the CAU Honors Program, the author of the Panther Newspaper’s “Spiritual Enrollment”, and Chaplain and Fall 2011 initiate of the Alpha Phi chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. He is also an inductee into the International Academy of Preachers where he made his sermonic introduction in Atlanta, Georgia's 2013 spring conference.

Additionally, he holds the title of the Inaugural James P. Brawley Orator of the Year and displays this powerful oratorical gift across the US from the Mayor of Atlanta's Masked Ball to radio and television premiers on stations such as V103, the CW, WSB, CBS, ABC, BET and CNN. Green has also been featured in the Indianapolis Star, Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Huffington Post, and New York Times for his ministerial strides in social justice. Additionally, his writing publications include "Gospel in the City," and "Whispers in the Dark." Tyler Joshua Green humbly served as the 2012-2013 SGA President of Clark Atlanta University, the youngest in the institution’s history and is curently a tenured professor at the Allen Entreprenurial Institute teaching "Focus and Discipline," and "Effective Communication." In the fall of 2014, Mr. Green will begin his Master's degree work at the Duke Divinity School, one of the country's top 5 programs. In addition to his "Who's Who Among American College Students" nominations, Mr. Green has served as a national spokesman for the likes of the Fund for Theological Education, Anheuser-Busch and the United Negro College Fund. He continues to grace the campus, community and country with his intellectual and spiritual poise through sermons, seminars, and speaking engagements on topics concerning social commentary, scholarship significance and spiritual importance.
