With the constantly changing population and environments and the periodically changed regulations and administration techniques, it is important to stay current when administrating medications in assisted living communities. By knowing current techniques, safety concerns, and available resources, medication aides and nurses will be better trained to provide the best care to the residents they serve. Mistakes in medication administration can be severe, so we encourage everyone to be proactive in preventing them.
