4:30 - 5:30 p.m.  -  $30 PRSA Members/Students  -  $40 Nonmembers

In our age of shrinking budgets and growing efficiency, communications professionals are doing more than ever - often with no extra staff support. Learn tools and strategies for keeping projects on track, staying organized, and getting it all done from some of the busiest PR professionals around: Mary Rozak, Communications Director, Albany County, and Phoebe Stonbely, Manager of Operations and Outreach, Lawsuit Reform Alliance of New York. All registrants will receive a FREE digital packet of templates and resources from panelists and PRSA board members!

PRSA Summer Mixer featuring
Dramatic Readings of Bad Press Releases by
Local Journalists

5:30 - 7:30 p.m.  -  $20 PRSA Members/Students  -  $40 Nonmembers

If you've attended PRSA's summer mixer in the past, you already know that it's a great night out with fellow PR practitioners. This year, we're making the event even better!

Some of our most theatrical local journalists will give dramatic readings of their favorite terrible press releases. Don't worry - only non-local press releases will be read! Participating journalists:

  • Susan Arbetter, The Capitol Pressroom
  • Mary Darcy, All Over Albany
  • Danielle Sanzone, The Record/The Saratogian
  • Karen Tararache, TWC News
  • Jimmy Vielkind, Capital New York
  • Jeff Wilkin, Daily Gazette

We'll have an appetizer buffet, and the first round of drinks is on us! Want to stay for dinner afterward? All registrants will receive an additional free beer with the purchase of food at Brown's Brewing Company that night!
