Please join Jay Fink, WRIP 97.9 fm Windham, Julia Reischel, Watershedpost.com, and Patrick Stella, National Grid for a panel discussion moderated by Paul Conti, Assistant Communications Professor at The College of St. Rose. When the greater Capital Region was struck by a string of natural disasters, communications professionals had to step up to provide emergency information, locate loved ones, get the word out on how best to help and keep the story in the news in spite of  a short-attention span 24/7 news cycle.  Our panelists will touch on the formal planning an organization goes through in advance of, during and after a crisis and how sometimes you have to get creative when you are in the thick of it.  

The reservation policy is that all no-shows will be billed.  For attendees who have pre-paid and pre-registered, refunds will only be made to those who cancel their reservation in writing via email 48 hours prior to the event.
