Innovative Thinking in the STEM Field

Studies projected that women in STEM would increase, but instead, the precentage of women in STEM fields have actually decreased. On August 8, WTS NC Triangle Chapter will be hosting a breakfast open discussion about the obstacles that make it difficult for women to maintain a career in transportation. The aim is to understand the problem, develop ideas for action, and inspire members to get involved.
We are excited to announce that our moderator will be Iona Thomas, Director with McAdams. This is a fantastic opportunity for an open discussion on this, and other topics, professional development, and networking with other industrial professionals.
This program is open to all; you don't have to be a WTS member to attend. Breakfast will be provided. Parking pass will be made available to attendees.
Fee: $10 + can food for donations to Food Bank of NC
