Join us for the next WTS Transportation YOU Event on September 22nd!

How does transportation impact everyday life?  What careers are related to transportation?  Who were the women who paved the way for careers in STEM and transportation?  Join us for the 2016 - 2017 Transportation YOU Kickoff event as we answer these questions and more while learning about careers in transportation.

Sign up for our next WTS Transportation YOU event on September 22nd where we will explore transportation through hands-on activities and interactive games.  At this event, you will meet your mentors for the 2016 - 2017 program year.  Our program has about a dozen professionals (engineers, planners, marketing coordinators, etc.) who volunteer their time to increase your understanding of transportation and STEM.

This is the 5th year of our chapter's involvement in Transportation YOU, WTS' STEM outreach and mentorship program for girls. All who attend will be entertained with food & fun!  Our event will include a hands on activity that will demonstrate our topic.  Dinner will be provided. RSVP is appreciated for  an accurate head count.  We hope you can join us!

Transportation YOU is part of an on-going initiative of WTS to spark girls' interest in a wide variety of transportation careers, especially those tied to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). For more information about Transportation YOU or our local chapter of WTS check out:
