Sarvajanik Ganesh Visarjan (Immersion)

An official Public Ganesh Visarjan Ceremony in the running waters of

Raritan River.

 

We have been bringing beautiful Ganesh murtis to you for several years and now bringing you another great tradition from back home. 
Bid farewell to our beloved Ganapati in the same traditional way; by immersing the murti into the running waters of Raritan river in Central Jersey.

Come join us in the grand Pune style procession singing and dancing on the rhythm of Dhol, Lezim and Dandia followed by Aarti and Visarjan at the river.  Please bring your Murtis for a Visarjan at the river. Let's Conclude our favorite Ganesh Festival in a grand style just like back home.

But Hurry! Space is limited. You must register in order to participate in this event. Register early and secure your spot. Tickets will be allotted on a first come first serve basis. Unregistered guests will not be able to participate.

Limit:  1000 Registrants only.

Please note that due to the environmental concerns the permission is granted only to dip the murti in the river and then taken out for recycling. Also this will be done by authorized personnel only. Individual persons are not allowed to enter the river waters.
