Greyhound Gathering - Kanab 2017 

Celebrate loving greyhounds and sighthounds with three plus days of fun and fundraising, food and frolic, talks and tales, costume parade and more. Registration fees
April 11 - May 1 - $110 per person. Registration closes on May 1. 

Highlights include:
***NEW*** Three Art Seminars by classy artists
         - SOLD OUT - Paint Your Pet: Bring a blown-up photo copy of one of your pets' faces. You'll leave with a gorgeous      painted portrait. No talent needed. Really! Two sessions on Thursday afternoon. Six per session. $35 each.

        - Photo Your Pet: Bring your camera or cell phone. Learn tricks and tips to take phantastic photos of your pets under the tutelage of Gary Kalpakoff. $20 each.

       - Papier Mache. Make your own greyhound with the master, Steve Wirtz, guiding you! $40 each.

- Blur of Fur -  hounds chase humans on a strip of grass, while being clocked by radar

 - Costume Parade - everyone goes all out and the crowds cheer to see hounds looking oh so miserable - I mean majestic - dressed in all their finery. There will be music, a stage and prizes.

***NEW***Red Rock Live -  Live music to listen or dance off our dinner with our dogs and Kanab residents on Main Street.

- Meals - The best meals you've ever had at a greyhound event!  All you can eat Pizza. Then Chef Shon's fabulous food - Reception appetizers. ***NEW***Lunches of Wrap, Soup/Salad/Bread. Cookies for dessert. Saturday night - surprise dessert at Angels Landing. 

 - Thursday Meet & Eat - Start your Gathering off right - running your hounds, meeting friends and eating.  Decorate Your Dog. . Nail Trimming with Dr. Heather.

 - Photo Contest - At the Gathering, enter a picture or two or three - and win a greyt prize. Pictures on display during Gathering.

 - Best Friends Angels Landing Yappy Hour, Dinner and Festivities - with a welcome by Faith Maloney - Best Friends founder. Native American Blessing - Dave Abrams.

 - Auctions, Woof-Woof Grab Bag, Wheel of Fortune, ***NEW***Dramatic Drawings  - So many ways to help hounds - with over 1000 items for your spending  pleasure.

- Memory Photo & Candids - Professional 8x10 photo of you and your hounds. Free candid photos will be available after the Gathering for you to download.

 Bad Tags and Barnwood signs will NOT be available at the Gathering. There will be limited clothing stock at the Gathering.  Drawing tickets, if not sold out, could be available.

They'll get you spins on the Greyt Wheel of Fortune - where every spin is a winner.  They can also be used at Nail Trimming. Greyt Bucks are $1 each.
