College / University                                   Threat Assessment Training                (ONLINE CLASS)

Join us for a one-day class on behavioral threat assessment and threat management at colleges and universities.  This class will be taught online and will include interactive tabletop exercises as well as Q&A throughout the class. We are temporarily reducing our registration fee to make it easier for everyone to access this training.  See below for class description and the link to register.

Threat assessment is the current best practice for preventing active shooter incidents, stalking, and other targeted violence at colleges and universities.  This one-day course teaches participants how to assess threats and other disturbing behavior, and take steps to reduce risk and prevent harm.  The class covers the following topics:

• Facts about targeted violence
• Components of effective campus threat assessment programs
• Multi-discplinary teams and membership
• Steps in the threat assessment process
  
• Screening cases for threat assessment
• Gathering information from multiple sources
• Analyzing information and making an assessment 
• Developing and implementing case management plans
• Using threat assessment in Title IX investigations
• Tabletop exercises that allow participants to pratice using threat assessment procedures

Course fee: $200 per person.  Participants will receive handouts and a course completion certificate.
