Threat Assessment Training for                Law Enforcement, Executive Protection,   and Security Professionals                        (ONLINE CLASS)

Join us for a one-day class on threat assessment training for law enforcement, executive protection, and security professionals.  Threat assessment is the best available investigative tool to prevent violence and stalking against public officials, public figures, and high-profile events.  This class will be taught online and will include interactive tabletop exercises as well as Q&A throughout the class. This one-day course teaches participants how to investigate threats, stalking, and other disturbing behavior, assess the threat, and mitigate risk through intervention and protective operations.  The class covers the following topics:

• Facts about targeted violence against public officials, public figures, and high-profile events
  
• Threat assessment and protective intelligence investigations
  
• Developing and operating a threat assessment unit
  
• Steps in the threat assessment investigative process:
  
• Screening cases for threat assessment
• Investigating information from multiple sources
• Analyzing information and making an assessment 
• Developing and implementing case management plans
• Using threat assessment investigations to inform protective operations
  
• Tabletop exercises that allow participants to pratice using threat assessment procedures

Course fee: $250 per person.  Participants will receive handouts and a course completion certificate.
