Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Can I sponsor a stud but not participate in the "day of" event?
Yes, you can! Your stud will have the name of the purchaser printed on it & used to build a home.
2. Can I donate anonymously?
Yes, you can! If you would like us not to print your name as a sponsor or on a stud please note that when you register to sponsor.
3. Will my company be listed as a sponsor? YES! Not only will you be able to take pictures at the event, but we will be taking picture of all stud sponsors and we will be listing each stud sponsor as a donor for the home built.
4. How do I transport my stud?
Studs, with the correct flagging, can usually be transported in small vehicles. Also we will have a trailer at the Stud Stop site to be transported for you.
STUD - A - THON
You can help BUILD a Home by sponsoring a STUD!
Studs are 2x4s at 92 and 5/8 inches tall. It takes over 300 of these studs to frame each Comal County Habitat for Humanity home. Studs are available to sponsor at the cost of $200.00 each. Each sponsored stud will be used to build a home. Each Stud Sponsor will be invited to a stud viewing event (at a future date). Will you & your team be able to "spot your studs" in the house frame?
There are 2 ways to find your Stud:
Register now & you could take your stud immediately to be signed & decorated by friends, family, and/or coworkers! With your receipt you can pick up your stud at 1269 Industrial Drive Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. We would like all the studs to be delivered to our newly poured slab at our Stud Drop off event, 1824 Michigan street on April 28th, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. noon. You can register to sponsor your stud at www.comalhabitat.org

12:00 p.m. noon, at our STUD STOP location:
