Senior Recognition Sunday 2016 

Dear Parents & Graduates, 

Senior recognition is Sunday, May 15 and we want you to join us!  

On the 15th we will gather for the Traditional service at 9:30 a.m. in the Attic (Youth space upstairs). Bring your cap and gown and be prepared to wear them throughout the service. At 9:45 a.m. we will take a group photo on the chancel steps in the sanctuary. We will participate in the processional of the Traditional service. Near the mid-point of the service we will depart to be honored in the C&C service, and we will have our first opportunity to see our senior slideshow. If parents wish to travel to C&C at that time, that is fine.

At the conclusion of C&C families are invited to join us in Wesley Hall for brunch and a short program. We are making preparations now for food so please reserve your spots by contacting Amanda Lowe, Youth Associate. Family and extended family are welcomed as our guests!  As mentioned earlier, one of our traditions is a multi-media presentation of all our graduates. When making your reservation, please email a digital .jpg file (no PDFs) of a Senior picture and a baby picture to be used in the presentation. Send the largest size electronic file you have. If you do not have a digital copy or a way to scan a picture, Amanda can do that for you. Please bring those pictures to Amanda, or place them in her mail box in the church office. We will return these pictures the day of the brunch. Please make an effort to get this to Amanda by Sunday, May 1. If you are unable to attend the service and brunch, we still want to include you in our celebration. Let us know that you won't be there when you register!

Each graduate will receive a gift bag. It has been our tradition for many years for families to gather letters of encouragement from loved ones, teachers, Sunday school teachers and youth leaders and place those in the bag for the graduate. Please let these special folks know of this opportunity. The bags will be available the morning of the brunch in Wesley Hall and names will be on the bags to help identify each graduate.

This is a special day for the church to honor your hard work. This is not just a youth event, but an opportunity for the church to recognize and bless you. If you call Trinity your home church we want you to participate!
