One in four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime.

This October, help support domestic violence survivors in our community.

Join us in supporting Women's Space and the domestic violence survivors they serve through a community supply drive. We are collecting toiletry items from Sept. 30 - Oct. 11.

This supply drive is a part of a multi-state Allstate Foundation Purple PurseŽ effort that will benefit more than 50 domestic violence nonprofits across the country.

Drop-off donations at one of the Allstate agencies listed below:

  • Candice Hook: 3135 W. 11th Ave., G-1, Eugene, OR 97402
  • Dennis Michalek: 2295 Coburg Rd., 310, Eugene, OR 97401

On a single day in 2018, more than 9,000 requests for help from victims went unaddressed due to a lack of funding and bandwidth at domestic violence programs. The Allstate Foundation works to provide these organizations with the resources they need to answer every call — from the ask for emergency shelter to financial assistance.

Allstate agency owners and financial specialists volunteer their time and support the charitable efforts of The Allstate Foundation. The Allstate Foundation is committed to ending domestic violence by empowering victims with the tools to achieve financial independence and a life free from abuse.

*Financial abuse is one of the least known but one of the most powerful tactics to keep a victim from leaving a relationship. The tactics may include a victim having their spending tightly monitored or restricted by their partner, having their job jeopardized or their credit ruined, or being excluded from major budget decisions.
