 Clothing Drive to Support STEP2

Help us empower survivors of domestic violence!

Domestic violence is at an epidemic level in this country as one in four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. In 99% of all cases of domestic violence, there is an invisible weapon keeping victims trapped in abusive relationships: financial abuse.

Throughout the week of April 10, National Volunteer Week, Allstate agents will help bring out the good in our communities and help survivors of domestic violence and their families by hosting a community clothing drive to benefit STEP2.

STEP2 is a comprehensive residential and outpatient treatment program that provides women and their families struggling to overcome violence the opportunity to rebuild their lives. The clothing collected during the drive will benefit the women and children who stay there, some of who arrive with nothing more than the clothes on their backs.

Your community Allstate agents volunteer their time and support the charitable programs of The Allstate Foundation, a nonprofit funded by Allstate Insurance Company. Allstate Foundation Purple Purse is the longest-running national campaign focused on ending domestic violence through a proven solution: financial empowerment services for survivors.

Please join us in empowering survivors of domestic violence. To support this drive, please review the list below and bring items to one of the drop-off locations listed below. For more information about The Allstate Foundation, visit AllstateFoundation.org.

Items in Need:

  • Clothes for infants through adult women
  • Gently used houseware

Contact your local participating Allstate agent for questions about donating items.
