NCAC is excited to partner with State Representative Rosemary Brown and Pocono Mountains United Way to to host a free workshop on grant writing and grant seeking funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission. The session will be presented by Kurt R. Bauman, Executive Director of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Nonprofit & Community Assistance Center (NCAC).
The Finding the Funding Program is designed to provide a general introduction to the field of grant seeking and the available resources and tools that can be used to identify, profile and vet funding opportunities. The Grant Writing Basics Program is designed to provide a general introduction to the field of grant writing and the overall grant preparation process. Participation in this workshop offers an opportunity to learn best practices in grant writing and how to increase your chances of getting funded. Participants will learn:

Staff and volunteers from nonprofit organizations, municipalities, community groups, civic organizations, clubs, professional organizations, and social service agencies who have an interest in obtaining grants to offer services or programs that will directly benefit their community and have a positive impact on the quality of life throughout the region.
