Bridging A Nation:
The History and Economics of the
US Railway
Using the Economic Way of Thinking, this 4 hour workshop for teachers is designed to highlight the historical and economic impact of the creation of the American railway system. In the inspiring setting of the Arizona Railway Museum, participants will receive lessons specifically designed for the implementation of the NEW Arizona History and Social Science Standards. This workshop will include instructional materials and strategies, a tour of the Arizona Railway Museum.
Grades Level: 7th -12th Grade
$20 Registration fee
Participants will be eligible for 4.0 hours of professional development credit.
