We are pleased to announce that the Arizona Council on Economic Education is a recipient of a generous grant from the Western Union Foundation and Council for Economic Education in the amount of up to $1,200.00 per teacher to attend the 52nd Annual Financial Literacy and Economic Education Conference, October 3-5, 2013, in Baltimore, Maryland. You will receive the best in class Economics and Personal Finance Education Professional Development, integrated with the Common Core Standards and STEM.
This conference features a diverse selection of presentations, workshops and events to enable educators to raise the levels of economic and financial literacy among K-12 students. It also features the latest in curriculum development, instructional materials, teaching strategies, new programs and best practices; professional development workshops and sessions for K-12 teachers; outstanding speakers on current economic and financial topics; hands-on technology education sessions; and teacher roundtables to discuss shared issues, accomplishments, challenges, and opportunities.
