The Arizona Council on Economic Education invites you to join us for the 51st Annual Financial Literacy and Economic Education Conference, October 5-6, 2012, in Kansas City, Missouri.
This conference features a diverse selection of presentations, workshops and events to enable educators to raise the levels of economic and financial literacy among K-12 students. It also features the latest in curriculum development, instructional materials, teaching strategies, new programs and best practices; professional development workshops and sessions for K-12 teachers; outstanding speakers on current economic and financial topics; hands-on technology education sessions; and teacher roundtables to discuss shared issues, accomplishments, challenges, and opportunities. Highlights:

APPLY NOW for an $800 scholarship towards supplementing or covering travel, lodging, registration, and other attendance-related costs for teachers. As a condition, teachers traveling to the conference on scholarship will attend a preselected conference session (TBD), after which they will submit a summary of what they have learned in letter form. At a minimum, they must also attend all or most of the conference on Friday, Oct. 5 and Saturday, Oct. 6.
ACEE thanks the national Council for Economic Education for a small grant to cover a limited number of scholarships for Arizona teachers. Funds are limited, apply before September 11, 2012.
