Kimberly Jordano
Kimberly Jordano has over 20 years of teaching experience. She currently teaches kindergarten full time in the Los Alamitos School District and is a master teacher and language-arts mentor. Kimberly holds a master’s degree in English as a Second Language (ESL). Kimberly presents her exciting, creative, and effective ideas for motivating students to learn at workshops and conferences all across the country. She has written over 20 books and teacher resources, including her publications by Creative Teaching Press on phonemic awareness, calendar activities, sight word books, interactive writing, Standards based thematic teaching, take-home literacy backpacks and book making activities. Kimberly’s classroom has been called a showcase for children’s creative work. It can be transformed into a rain forest or an undersea adventure and her creative lessons bring the room alive! Heidi Butkus has been teaching in California public schools since 1985. She has somehow managed to stay in Kindergarten all of those years, with the exception of five years in first grade! Combining a strong knowledge of brain research with practical experience, Heidi has created a wealth of fun and engaging teaching techniques that work well with diverse populations. Heidi's multimedia workshops are filled with fun and motivational educational activities that have been classroom tested and revised for effectiveness with all types of learners. She has presented at workshops and conferences nationwide, and is the owner and founder of HeidiSongs. Heidi has also created fourteen original CD's and DVD's for teaching beginning reading and a math skill, three musical plays designed especially for young performers, and has written some picture books and numerous other teaching resources. REGISTRATION FEE: (payable in advance) $159 per person. Checks, VISA, and MasterCard accepted. Purchase orders will not be accepted. Registration Fee includes: Attendance, lunch, and handouts. No confirmation will be sent. Your canceled check or your credit card statement will be your receipt of registration. REFUND POLICY There are no refunds under any circumstances. If your registration is accepted, but you are unable to attend, you may send a friend or colleague in your place. In the event of an emergency which causes the cancellation of the conference, a $20 administrative fee will be deducted from all registrations.
