MN Chapter of Tax Executives Institute, Inc.

35th Annual President's Seminar

Welcome to the 35th Annual President’s Seminar online registration site.  This two-day seminar is offered to TEI members and their business guests who are employees of a member organization, as well as other tax executives who meet TEI membership qualifications and are sponsored by a TEI member.

This year’s agenda includes top national speakers presenting on a variety of international, federal, and state and local tax topics.  There will also be several exhibitors on hand with information about their products and services.  Please be sure to stop by and visit the exhibitor booths while at the seminar.

In addition to the educational benefits, the seminar provides a great opportunity to network and connect with current and former colleagues.  The Tuesday afternoon reception is a perfect setting to continue networking with your friends and colleagues at the end of the first day.

**NEW! Seminar Fees
The seminar fee will be designated by a member/non-member split. The two-day rate is $200 for members/ $225 for non-members. The Wednesday only session rates are $100 for members/$115 for non-members
.  Chapter membership is individual. Please download the member list HERE if you need to check if an individual is a member. The fee includes the online conference materials, continental breakfast, lunch, refreshments at breaks, and the Tuesday afternoon reception (for those attending both days).  During the registr
ation process, you will have the option to register multiple attendees at the same time, as well as to pay by credit card or check.  The deadline for registration is Friday, April 13, 2018.  If you are unable to attend the seminar after registering, a refund will only be issued if written notification is received on or before April 13, 2017.  Please direct your request for refund to Mary Christensen at teiminnesota@gmail.com.  All refunds will be issued after the seminar and will be subject to a $25 administration charge.  No refunds will be issued after April 13, 2018.

Seminar Materials
We will once again offer online access to seminar materials. The materials will be accessible online through the Guidebook app approximately one week before, and for three months after, the seminar. After registering, you will receive a notification e-mail with instructions on how to access the materials.  Please note that copies of the materials will not be available at the seminar. Bring lots of business cards!

Continuing Professional Education
CPE and CLE credit is available for seminar attendees. Certificates will be issued after the conference based on each session survey returned.

Hotel Accommodations
A block of rooms has been secured for conference attendees at the Millennium Hotel Minneapolis, 1313 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55403.  The group rate is $134/night (single occupancy), plus taxes and fees.  The rate excludes parking fees.  The hotel is connected to the Minneapolis Convention Center via the downtown skyway system.  You can access the group registration site through the link on the left side of the page. Please be sure to book your room as early as possible to avoid the room block being filled or expired. Our room block will be held until March 26th if it does not fill before then.

Parking
There are several parking ramps near the convention center.  A detailed map of available parking can be accessed using the link on the left side of the page.

Recording Devices
Tape recorders and recording devices are not permitted to be used during the seminar.

Attire
Business casual attire is appropriate for all sessions of the conference.

We look forward to seeing you at the seminar.
