Days of Hope Weekend Retreat

June 8-10, 2018

The Days of Hope Weekend Retreat is an annual event, and it offers alumni an extended version of Pine Grove’s Days of Hope event, which is offered throughout the year. Alumni and their families return to Pine Grove’s campus to re-connect with staff and current patients. The weekend concludes with a spiritual send off on Sunday morning.

Friday, June 8th

• 6:00-9:00 PM: Dinner and  sharing at the Open Door Community Church (2180 Oak Grove Road)

Saturday, June 9th

• 9:00-12:00 PM Workshop by Kevin McCauley creator of Pleasure Unwoven at Southern Oaks (1246 Richburg Rd)
• 12:00-1:00 PM: Lunch
• 1:30-3:00 PM: Alumni, Family, and Patient sharing at the treatment programs
• 6:00-8:30 PM: Dinner and stories of recovery at Southern Oaks (1246 Richburg Rd)

Sunday, June 10th

• 8:30-09:30 AM: "Eleventh Step Guidance Meeting" at Pine Grove Turner Hall (2255 Broadway Drive)

Pine Grove Giving Back

In lieu of registration fees for this event Pine Grove welcomes our Alumni free of charge and encourages a donation to the Pine Grove’s Spiritual Grounds.

Giving Back recently completed work to beautify Pine Grove's Spiritual Grounds by establishing a meditative labyrinth and fire circle to further enhance our patient's treatment experience. Labyrinths help patients focus on a defined goal, like recovery, by offering a set path with a clear destination. The fire circle provides Pine Grove’s patients with a means to spiritually discard past transgressions and make healthy resolutions. Additionally, Pine Grove plans to further develop the Spiritual Grounds by adding a bell tower, chapel, and water feature to support the healing process.
