Note: We are not offering the Spiritual Exercises per se, but a special introduction and witness from people like you who have made this an important part of their spiritual lives.
What is Ignatian Spirituality? Rooted at the very beginning of the Jesuit experience of St. Ignatius, St. Francis Xavier and St. Peter Faber, Ignatian spirituality is a wonderful way of directing one’s life toward holiness. This authentic Christian method has been recommended for centuries as a way of spiritual renewal — a way to pray, an approach to making decisions, a point of view about God, and a practical guide to everyday discipleship.
What Will The Program Be Like? Each evening will last approximately 90 minutes. We will gather together for:
- Personal witness and stories
- Reflection
- Conversation
- Prayer
- Fellowship
Note: It is not necessary to commit to attending all four sessions.

Presenter: Sue Palmer is a writer, artist and avid gardener. She is involved in various ministries at Church of the Saviour United Methodist Church in Cleveland Heights including leading bible study, workshops and retreats on prayer, and spiritual journaling. The Spiritual Exercises transformed her prayer life from the mundane to the meaningful and she now notices God in every part of her life.
