2019 Cybersecurity Workshop

King County, Region 6 Critical Infrastructure Working Group

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED
On-site registration will be available on the day of the event.
Join us Tuesday, March 26, 2019, for the Region 6 Critical Infrastructure Working Group Cybersecurity Workshop. Engage in timely discussions on current cyber threats and how stakeholders can partner together as a region to increase the cybersecurity and resilience of our infrastructure.

Highlights:
  • HEAR from experts on 911 and first responder communications. What are the vulnerabilities and preventable measures in our 911, dispatch, and delivery systems? Engage in scenario-based discussion.
  • GAIN a better understanding of mobile security, and hear about threats, vulnerabilities, and security surrounding the devices that we use everyday.
  • GET updates from Federal, State, and Local emergency management and cybersecurity experts and officials on what is happening around the region.
  • MEET like-minded first responders, business owners, critical infrastructure operators, IT professionals, and emergency managers.
  • LEARN about low cost, efficient cyber solutions that can protect your business from cyber threats. Recent cyber attacks around the country have highlighted the need for ALL business owners to be aware of steps that YOU can take to prevent being a target.
  • ENGAGE on other projects throughout the region, such as region-wide drone usage projects, long-term power outage preparedness, and more.
  • NETWORK with cybersecurity stakeholders from the Puget Sound.

Who Should Attend: Emergency managers, cybersecurity directors and managers, law enforcement, IT support staff, business continuity professionals, control systems technicians, small business owners concerned about cyber security, all private and public sector cyber security stakeholders.
