Tiki Barbarians

Latitude Adjustment is NOT just a dance! It is a public block party (with dancing!) thrown by Eastport Yacht Club in even years to celebrate those who work in the Marine Trades, introduce and send off the Annapolis to Bermuda Ocean Race crews and name Outstanding Marine Wizards. It has a long and colorful history whose continued centerpiece is Wes Wilde's famous Rum Punch.

The EYC Foundation will welcome the public's nominees for the 2016 Outstanding Marine Wizard award and the returning Wizards from the classes of 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014. The five 2016 Wizards, selected by a very special panel of judges, will be welcomed into the Wizard clan and given a commemorative gift.

 

The Annapolis to Bermuda Race Committee will introduce the A2B Crews and we will see which skippers put a curfew on their crews with the first gun scheduled for Friday, June 10th at 1:30 PM.

 

Andy Fegley, a 2008 Outstanding Marine Wizard, and the Tiki Barbarians will keep EYC rocking all evening so be sure to wear your dancing shoes! Bermuda Ocean Race gear will be for sale and information about the EYC Foundation's MAST (MArine Skills Training) initiative and their other programs will be available. Lots of Gosling rum drinks, beer, wine, soft drinks and water will be for sale along with the secret recipe Rum Punch. As always the EYC Volunteer Grillers will be cooking up a storm of reasonably priced fare. You may also choose to purchase envelopes of 21 Food & Drink tickets for only $20, to get your evening off to a quick start. These tickets are non-refundable and will be packaged with your Event Tickets for pick up at WILL CALL (front gate).

Latitude Adjustment Party Admission Tickets are $10 in advance,
or $15 at the door so buy early and save! 

Online ticket sales will be closed at 11:59 PM on Wednesday,
June 8. Tickets purchased online will be available at the Will Call desk at the event!
