Practice Day!

Come learn and have fun with us!
The 2015 Game Missions will be revealed at this Practice Day!
Students and teachers will focus on game-specific learning using robotic programming and engineering skills. Students practice and collaborate with other teams while learning the new challenges. Teams will gain an understanding of the:
- Basic Ecobot Game Rules and 2015 Mission specific rules
- Game table set up and placement of game pieces
- Point scoring strategies
- An introduction or refresher of our Eco-Genius game: BINGERDY
Participants will work at several stations where they will scrimmage, practice running robot rounds and have opportunities to experience what real game conditions are like with timing, judging and scoring.
What will we learn and do?
- Gain knowledge in robotic engineering and programming
- Talk to veteran Ecobot participants - our Ambassadors - who can help their peers!
- Q&A with our Lead Teacher!

What should we bring?*
- Robot kit - NXT or EV3
- Robot battery and charger
- A laptop (no netbooks)
- Pencil/pen & paper
- Sack Lunch or $5 for Pizza Lunch (orders placed during morning check-in)
*Your game tables and pieces are not needed at this training.
