Sports Academy Volleyball Tryouts 

Sports Academy invites you to register for a tryout for the upcoming season. We are the original and premier club in Iredell and surrounding counties with over 30 years of training and competition experience with Nationally Ranked Elite, Power and Club level teams; training locations in Mooresville and Statesville.  We offer high competitive programs for our Elite and Open level athletes as well as Challenge, Regional, Local and Developmental programs for ages 8-18.

In addition to our excellent training and competition opportunities, we are heavily involved in the college recruiting process for athletes (9th-12th grade) who aspire to play at the college level and have developed programs that allow for maximum exposure.  

We also recognize that playing a sport alone does not build true athletes.  We are proud to promote and offer one of the very best and most comprehensive Performance Training Programs (PPT) in the area. PPT is offered in addition to team practices and offered on the same day. We also offer independent PPT on non practice days.

With the growth of volleyball in our area, tryouts have become a stressful time for both families and our club.  We are proud to have created an environment that allows players to voluntarily make Sports Academy their first choice or to try out for multiple clubs.  With so many clubs holding tryouts on the same date/time, we believe this will give families the best opportunity to select where they wish to gain their volleyball experience.  

At Sports Academy, we value our relationships with those who have trusted us in previous years and recognize these families may want to make a commitment to our club now.  We also know there are families who have not played with our club who want to make the same commitment.  For those families, we are happy to offer our Priority Tryout.  "Priority Tryouts" offer a 100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.  "Priority Tryouts" do not always guarantee an offer will be extended.  It will, however, guarantee candidates the opportunity to tryout, regardless of published tryout date and the opportunity to receive an offer. This also allows players to attend another tryout as a back up option if necessary.  If an offer it not extended for the division or team you indicate, candidates may request a full refund or accept another Sports Academy offer.

We also recognize that players want the opportunity to tryout for multiple clubs.  This could be as a back up, to evaluate other opportunities or as a means to receive multiple offers before making a decision.  For these families, we are happy to offer At Large Tryouts.
