This course is a first step for a Pilates Instructor or Physiotherapist to teach the public on the Pilates Cadillac or Half Cadillac / Tower. At the conclusion of this course and its assessments the Instructor will be able to gain Industry Insurance to teach Pilates Tower exercises taught on this course and to run a Pilates Induction session for those clients new to the Pilates Tower.
NB If you are a UK based instructor teaching for money in the UK you will need to have taken the Mbodies UK Pilates Studio Health & Safety lecture and passed the multiple choice associated with it before we can give you your certificate for this course (there is an option to include this in your booking when you Register)

The objectives of this course are to allow any qualified Pilates Instructor or medical movement practitioner such as a Physiotherapist to gain insurance to call themselves a Pilates Cadillac / tower Instructor and to teach the 40+ exercises taught on this course together with normal progressions and regressions for those exercises.
As a student on this course you will learn the anatomy of the Pilates Cadillac and the safe use of all of the parts before learning the safe tuition pointers for a client working in lying, seated, kneeling and standing positions using different spring set ups
You will then learn yourself a Tower workout - referred to as the 'Tower Induction Workout' and then work with others to be able to competently teach this workout by the end of the course.
In addition to the Tower Repertoire included in the 'Induction Workout' you will learn exercises related to different components of the Tower in the following 5 categories.
Lesson 1 :- Push Through Bar
Lesson 2 :- Roll Down Bar
Lesson 3 :- Leg Springs
Lesson 4 :- Arm Springs
Lesson 5 :- Miscellaneous

This lecture needs to be watched through – We suggest taking some notes - Having completed this lecture and when you feel ready please let us know and we will provide a login and password for an ‘Open Book’ Online Multiple Choice test (this is where your notes will be helpful) requiring an 85% pass rate to complete this module
Pilates Studio Tower Induction
The aim of this course is to make sure that you are familiar with the Cadillac and Tower its parts and how to use the Tower in different Body positions with the different tools like Push Through Bar, Roll Down Bar, Leg Springs, Arm Springs etc. and that you are competent and safe in Introducing the Apparatus to members of the public who have not been on one before.
To achieve this you are expected to be able to perform yourself the 40 or so Tower exercises chosen for this course and to be able to teach the individual exercises and then that you can teach a motivating 30 minute Tower class that you have pre-learned. We are not just looking at exercise knowledge but your skills in meeting and greeting, keeping the class flowing with minimum delays and concluding the workout with a call to action style sign-off.
The Assessment for this part of the course is by one on one approximately 1 hour Zoom style assessment with one of our Tutors in which you prove your ability to Perform and teach the Repertoire which includes verbal questioning about Safety on the Cadillac together with your knowledge about Parts of the machine and how they work. as well as TWO Unedited video productions, with good quality audio, as well as wide angle visual of the whole tower & Bed which you shoot at home / work and provide to us on a USB stick or uploaded to a portal or You Tube - where we can see you teach two people your full Induction workout

You need to take this class a few times before you start to teach it to family or friends (you can see this class before enrolling on the Cadillac / Tower induction page on the Mbodies Website.
You will find most of the exercises in the 5 Repertoire videos for this course - each Video is a Lesson L1 – L5 and the exercise list for each lesson gives the Exercise number - so L3.5 is Lesson 3 exercise 5.
