Marci Atkinson has a wide range of experience in development operations as well as fundraising techniques, including grants, major gifts, direct mail and events. As Director of Philanthropy at St. Helena Hospital Foundation, she oversees development operations raising $5-7 million annually. Prior to St. Helena Hospital, Marci was Director of Development for Aldea Children & Family Services (a multi-county mental health and foster care organization), where she collaborated with staff and board to increase overall private fundraising revenue by more than 150%, led a major website re-design and built a social media and online fundraising presence.
Marci is current Vice President and former President of AFP WCC, and also serves on the steering committee for 100 Women Who Care About Napa County. Dedicated to furthering the professionalism of the fundraising sector, she received her CFRE in 2018.
