th as we welcome Mr. Dennis Sikkema, Director of Technical Sales from PRICE Industries.  Dennis will be visiting with us to discuss the ever changing and sometimes misunderstood world of single duct and fan powered terminal Units.  Dennis will be discussing selection guidelines for the application of single duct, series, and parallel fan powered terminal units and their control sequences,  the differences between attenuators and silencers, AHRI and ASHRAE test standards governing terminal units, correct specification of NC values, pressure relationships involving terminal units, reheat coil selection parameters, and if that is not enough for you, we will also discuss the application of electrically commutated (EC) motors and permanent split capacitor (PSC) motors.  Please join us in welcoming Dennis to our ASHRAE Chapter!

Speaker: Dennis P. Sikkema / Director of Technical Sales – Price Industries

       Dennis is the Director of Technical Sales for Price Industries Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia, and has been with the company for over 10 years. Prior to that he was with Tuttle & Bailey for 12 years as an Application Engineer, Product Manager, and a Regional Sales Manager.
       Dennis began his career as an Application Engineer with Johnson Controls for 6 years and has a BSME from Western Michigan University. Dennis is a member of ASHRAE and has been involved in ASHRAE and ARI committees. With over 30 year of experience in the industry, Dennis is an expert on numerous HVAC applications and actively provides training, project and design guidance throughout North America. At Price he oversees training programs and technical sales.
