 Dale M. Neibert - An investment industry veteran of +20 years, Dale currently serves as an integral part of the investment team actively managing a multi-billion dollar Defined Contribution retirement plan for H.E. Butt Grocery known to many as H-E-B. A unique, one of a kind 401(k) plan managed philosophically like a pension, the team invests/allocates directly (sep. managed, commingled etc.) within all traditional asset classes and alternatives which play a significant and necessary role providing diversification that cannot be found by investing in traditional asset classes alone. H.F.’s, P.E., V.C., R.E., Oil & Gas, F-X and Option tactical risk mgmt strategies are a few examples of alternative portfolio holdings that have contributed to positive long term performance results resulting in top percentile rankings according to Callan’s database.

Mark Rose, CFA - Mark is the Chief Investment Officer of Argo Group, an international underwriter of specialty insurance and reinsurance products in areas of the property and casualty market. Prior to Argo, Mark was a Managing Director and Senior High Yield Research analyst at RBC Capital Markets. With over 18 years of experience in the investment business, Mark has also worked for Deephaven Capital Management, Goldman Sachs, and Credit Suisse. Mark completed his studies at the United States Military Academy in mathematics.

Thomas Villalta, CFA, Director of Investment Research at Covenant Multi-Family Offices, LLC .  His responsibilities include manager research and market research. Tom performs ongoing due diligence for existing traditional and alternative investment managers, and helps identify new managers that Covenant may use in the future.

 Before joining Covenant in 2012, Tom was a portfolio manager for the Jones Villalta Opportunity Fund and the Chief Investment Officer for Jones Villalta Asset Management, a firm he co-founded in Austin, Texas. Prior to Jones Villalta, Tom worked for the City and County of San Francisco Employees Retirement System, where he performed due diligence on illiquid investment funds, including private equity, venture capital and opportunistic real estate limited partnerships.  Prior to this, Tom headed money manager and mutual fund due diligence for Piper Jaffray Company and worked in various investment analysis and due diligence positions for Dain Bosworth Inc. and affiliates. Additionally, from 2004 to 2010, Tom taught a number of graduate and undergraduate finance classes, as an adjunct professor at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.

 Tom earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Economics and English from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Tom is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the CFA Institute.

 Tom is the author of The Large-Cap Portfolio: Value Investing and the Hidden Opportunity in Big Company Stocks, published by John Wiley & Sons’ Bloomberg Press imprint in May, 2012. In addition to having appeared numerous times on CNBC, Fox Business, AOL Daily Finance and TheStreet.com, Tom has been quoted frequently in the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, BusinessWeek, SmartMoney, MarketWatch, Forbes, Reuters, Associates Press, CNN and other media outlets.

Christine Breck, CFA  - Managing Partner, Longstone Capital Advisors; President & Founder, Texas Wall Street Women - Christine Breck has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. In 2000, she joined Source Trading, a broker/dealer that served institutional investors including hedge funds, state agencies, mutual funds, and family offices. In addition to business development for the trading business, Christine raised over $1 billion in assets for a select few of the firm’s hedge fund clients.  In 2008, she founded Texas Wall Street Women, a not-for-profit networking and philanthropic group for women in the financial industry in Texas.
