Flora, Fauna, and the Magic of Pollination

 

Join YSI and Stephen Rosenthal, President of the Santa Clara Chapter   of the California Native Plant Society, for a short talk and nature walk  through Alum Rock Park to learn about pollinators and their plants.   We'll be looking for and learning about wildflowers, butterflies, hummingbirds, and more!

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THIS EVENT:

- PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED.  Limited spaces available.

- Recommended for ages 7+.  All children MUST have an adult registered and attending with them. (Up to 4 children per adult.)

- Takes place rain or shine.

- Parking fees not included.  $6 charge per vehicle.  This park's pay machines accept cash (exact change only) and most major credit cards.

- Cancellations must take place at least 72 hours before the event for a refund, minus a $10 admin fee

- If the adult participant wishes to change the names on the roster, they must let YSI know at least a day in advance.
