Soaring Like an Eagle: The Clarity and Emptiness of Our Mind Retreat 

Join us for a relaxing and meaningful away retreat at the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon with teachers Gen Kelsang Rigpa and Gen Kelsang Choma.

Fantastic news: We can completely change our experience of everything by changing our mind! This is possible because our mind and the things it perceives are empty of true, inherent existence. Our mind and our world arise together, completely dependent on our subjective mind. In this retreat, we’ll explore this fundamental truth deeply, first meditating on the clarity of the mind, then meditating on the emptiness of the mind.

In Modern Buddhism, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche beautifully describes this meditation: "All phenomena that appear to my mind are the nature of my mind. My mind is the nature of emptiness."

Retreat begins Thursday, 7:30pm and concludes with lunch on Sunday.
