POYC 2015 Annual Poker Run and Steak Fry
SATURDAY MAY 30TH
Let’s kick off the beginning of our spring and summer with a fabulous Poker Run and Steak Fry. Get your boats and bodies ready for May 30th.
The Poker Run is a major fund raiser for the POYC Kitsap Student Scholarship awards to recipients in Kitsap County.
We are currently seeking donations for the Raffle prizes. Last year we received many generous donations. Raffle ticket prizes and sales are a huge part of the funding for the scholarship. If you have something you would like to donate for the raffle – we would REALLY appreciate it. If you would like to donate cash to the Scholarship awards, we would welcome that too!
If you are unable to attend on the 30th, remember this is for a good cause and we will be selling absentee hands at the next General meeting. Absentee hands CAN NOT DISCARD AND DRAW A NEW CARD. Absentee hands will be logged by a volunteer team and not be disclosed until the awards are given out at the steak fry on the 30th.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars and invite your friends. You will be able to sign-up online soon. We look forward to seeing you all on May 30th and look forward to those raffle donations.

Poker Run Agenda
Purchase absentee hands at the May POYC General Meeting
OR
Saturday, May 30th – 11:00 to 12:30 to accommodate both power and sail boat participation.
It takes slower boats approximately 3 hours to run the course
Weather doesn’t cooperate – No Problem, Poker Run by land
Counting of the cards & Margaritas 3:30 - 5 pm
Steak Fry Social Hour 5-6 pm
Grills ready at 6
Sign-up EARLY online for the steak fry ($7) and Poker Run, or in the Kiosk BY May 26th, $10 (steak fry at the door)
We need Volunteers for the Poker Run……and you need work party time………..
We still need several volunteers to help - 4 people selling hands & 8 people counting cards, 3-4 people to sell raffle tickets, Bartender, 5 pairs of eyes for Judges.
