Presented by Antioch University New England and Professional Renewal Network
This educational experience provides a new awareness of self, a new sense of dignity and hope. As educators, the opportunity to work in concert with our peers empowers us to look within to strengthen our classrooms rather than to simply bow to the pressures that come from the outside. This project is designed to remind participants of their professional strengths, assist them in refining their classroom and school-wide practices, as well as to renew perspectives on their work within the field of education. This two-day program will include a variety of presentations in both discussion and hands-on settings.
Professional Renewal Network’s (PRN) mission is to develop and support an expanding cadre of school leaders who champion educational change through innovative, personalized schools. The term “School Leader” infers a broad, inclusive definition including all staff, students and community members. We inspire visionary leaders, to lead schools towards self-improvement and transformation. To create schools where diverse children can learn and excel with competence and creativity. Supporting a school community that practices democracy and social justice for all.
Facilitators: Tom McGuire, Sarah Gil, Tamara Parks, Rob Michelin, Casey Murrow and Mary Gannon.
