Youth Athletic Development ages 8-10.  Wednesdays  from 6:00pm-7:00pm   Beginning June 8th and ending August 10th.  (No Training on on July 6 th.)   Cost $115 due May 17th.

Performance Training ages 11-13  Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00pm-7:00pm  Beginnning June 14th and ending on August 11th.  (No Training on July 5th and 7th)   Cost $ 225 split into 2 payments.   (112.50 Due May 17th and 112.50 Due June 17th)

High Performance Training ages 14 and up.  Mondays, 6-7pm,  Wednesdays and Thursdays 7-8pm.  Beginning June 13th and ending August 11th.  (No Training July 4th, 5th, or 7th.  Cost $335 split into 2 payments (167.50 due May 17th and 167.50 due June 17th.)

Basketball/Volleyball Strength and Conditioning Summer 2016 Camps 

CAMPS ARE OPEN TO BOYS AND GIRLS ages 8-14

Vantage Youth Sports Performance is a mobile gym that comes to you!  These camps are being held at Sunshine Park in Andover.  Its summer time and kids should be outside.  We use multiple surfaces for training, grass areas, the paved basketball court as well as the volleyball sand court.  The multi-surfaces allow for us to be very specific in our training.  For example one of the uses for the sand court is for ankle, knee and hip stability and injury prevention.  

When available and needed for rain or heat we will use the Andover Community Center Gym.  Any sessions that must be cancelled due to weather will either be added to Friday at the end of that week, or will be added on to the end of the sessions in August. 

We trailer all our equipment in and unload on site.  We have a full line of equipment- Weights, Olympic weights and bars, benches, squat racks, speed bands, weight sleds, slide boards, hurdles, ladders, kettlebells, plyo boxes and we use a VERTIMAX platform for jump training.  Plus lots of fun developmental equipment for our younger campers.

We are highly trained and certified professionals SPECIFICALLY in youth-college athletes.  We use safe, effective and methodical training techniques that not only benefit athletes in immediate settings, but also over the long-term of their athletic careers.

Athletic Development Basketball/Volleyball Specific S&C ages 8-10
 
This Strength and Conditioning camp uses fun, explorative play and drills to provide a rich environment for forming fitness and athletic skills. Children and parents will see appreciative improvements in hand-eye coordination and agility and movements such as running shuffling, multidirectional, change of direction speed, and jump technique as they apply to the sports of basketball and volleyball as well as all other sports.  Parents often report that they see significant changes not only in coordination, but in their increased confidence levels. 

This camp is considered a volleyball/Basketball specific camp because of its emphasis on multidirectional speed and jump instruction.  However Athletes from any sport (or no sport) are welcome to enroll!
 

 

 

 Performance Training -Basketball/Volleyball Specific S&C ages 11-13

Children at this age are often beginning to enter into more physically demanding and competitive sports. This Strength and Conditioning Camp is specific to the needs of Basketball and Volleyball players
. The program is intended to develop the athletes systematic strength, introduction to weight lifting including power lifts, efficient and coordinated athletic movement patterns, hand-eye coordination, multidirectional speed and running skills, jump technique, conditioning and the ability to concentrate on physical effort and game strategy.

 

 Training is age appropriate and fun, but it is also a rigorous program with the intent of achieving significant gains in performance.  We ask that the athletes are prepared to work hard in this challenging program!

This camp is considered a volleyball/basketball specific camp only because its emphasis on multi-directional speed and jump instruction.  However athletes from all sports are welcome to enroll!

 

 

High Performance Training -Basketball/Volleyball Strength and Conditioning. Ages 14 and up

This camp includes injury prevention, Multidirectional speed and agility, Jump training, free weight and olympic weight training.  This camp is intended to increase speed, power and explosive play.  While we tend to keep things pretty fun, this is a high intensity program.  Athletes are encouraged to show up with good nutrition, hydration, be well rested and with a goal orientated mindset. 

Again this camp is considered Basketball/Volleyball Specific due to the emphasis on multi-directional speed and jump training.  However all Athletes will benefit from this camp and are welcomed to enroll.
