DACONS Oncology Care Summit (OCS)
The Desert Are Chapter Oncology Nursing Society hosts the Annual Oncology Care Summit during this premier oncology nursing event in the Coachella Valley, happening on November 20, 2018 from (5:30p-8:30p) at Venus De Fido Wellness Fitness and Event Center; 73600 Alessandro Drive, Palm Desert, CA 92260.
The Desert Area Chapter Oncology Nursing Society (DACONS) is proud to host this year’s event at Venus De Fido and looks forward to welcoming leaders and learners of palliative care from across the country.

Ruth Hill: DACONS Treasurer and DACONS (OCS) Event Host
Dr. Aitken: DACONS Advocate and Leader in Extended Oncology Education
Dinner and Lecture:
Dine and discuss the advances in palliative care and how cannabis is used in pain management for those in hospice and receiving Palliative care. Dinner donated by Ruth Chris Steak House, will feature a Thanksgiving style menu and meat carving station. Lecture delivered by Ruth Hill.
Scholarships Awarded: DACONS will award two $1,000 scholarships to local nurses in need
