Overview
This workshop will provide participants with a holistic review of web accessibility issues, increase awareness of the need to be accessible online, and provide some assessment tests for participants to check their own websites. 

Who is Loran Upton?
Loran works for Scotiabank as an Assistive Technologist. In her work, she conducts demonstrations of a wide variety of assistive technology devices that address the needs of people with all types of disabilities; this includes explaining their use in the context of banking, employment, and learning and development, etc. Her previous work revolved around the designing and hosting of websites and graphic design, computer troubleshooting and repair. Her main focus was individual or small group computer training in many programs.  Loran has a wealth of experience in graphic design, software applications, as well as website development and digital marketing - we are so excited to have her as a resource to share with our members!
