Inside the Minds of Planned Gift Donors – moderated by Donna Courville
Have you ever wanted to ask a donor why they give? Here’s your chance! The Planned Giving Forum of Greater Sacramento is turning the tables during our first session of the year. Instead of sharing the wisdom of planned giving professionals, we will give the microphone to prominent local donors so you can learn what makes them tick, philanthropically speaking. Moderated by Donna Courville, BoutinJones, Inc., we will hear from Sacramento Region Community Foundation donor Lynne Cannady; Sutter Health Foundation donor Patti Palamidessi; UC Davis Health donor David Motes; and Capital Public Radio donor Linda Brandenburger. Early philanthropic influences, motivations for giving to one cause over another, choosing between planned gifts and current gifts, and the desire for recognition – or not – are all topics we will cover in this lively discussion.
