Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week is an annual occupational health and safety celebration led by the CSSE, Manitoba Chapter, together with our Manitoba Safety and Health (NAOSH) week partners.
The goal of Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week is to focus the attention of employers, employees, the general public and all partners in occupational safety and health on the importance of preventing injury and illness at work, at home and in the community.
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH (NAOSH) WEEK 2020
Work-related illness, injuries and death in Manitoba remain a serious concern. Efforts throughout the province are contributing to improvements in worker safety and health. The Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) believes that these injuries, illnesses and deaths are preventable. That is why the CSSE proudly supports North American Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week May 3-9, 2020.
This year’s Winnipeg breakfast launch will take place at IG Field, Pinnacle Club with a special lineup of keynote speakers, federal, provincial & local dignitaries and various exhibits with local media coverage. This years launch will feature a panel discussion of former NAOSH award winners moderated by Jamie Hall, COO, SAFE Work Manitoba.
SAFE Work Manitoba will be launching Manitoba's Five Year Prevention Plan at the Safety and Health Week kick-off event. The Five Year Plan was developed in partnership with all IBSPs and other prevention partners.
