Fall Literacy Workshop 

CLI Solutions Group at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, invites you to its Fall Literacy Workshop. Participate in one or both days to increase your knowledge of effective, practical strategies that you can apply in your classroom immediately. Sessions will be delivered by top trainers from the Children's Learning Institute, and will focus on research-based, best practices. Space is limited. Sign up today!

These trainings are recommended for classroom teachers, specialists, literacy coaches, administrators, and district level staff supporting students in grade levels PK-2.

Payment

During registration the system will calculate the amount due for the day(s) you select. If you are attending both days, enter and apply the discount code 2DAYS to save $25 off of your registration fee. 

Your registration fee will include training, materials, and lunch. Parking is not included.

Payment is due upon registration. Payment must be received by September 14, 2018 or your registration will be at risk of cancellation.

Payment may be made by credit card, purchase order, or check. Below is more information regarding each payment option.

• Credit card payments are made through a secure online portal. If you opt to pay by credit card, you will receive a separate email including a link and directions for charging your registration fees. 
• Purchase orders should be submitted to our office by the payment deadline. Please send a copy of your PO by fax to 713-500-0301 or by email to clisolutionsgroup@uth.tmc.edu.
• Checks should be made payable to The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Please mail your check to the attention of Leticia Gloria at 7000 Fannin Street, Suite 700, Houston, Texas 77030.

If you need to cancel registration for any reason, please notify us immediately by email at clisolutionsgroup@uth.tmc.edu. Refunds will only be issued for registrants providing notice of cancellation before September 14, 2018. Registration my be transferred so that another individual may attend instead.

Parking

A gated parking lot is located across the street at 1941 East Road. Click here for a map of the parking area. This lot requires you to take a ticket upon entry and charges a fee of $10 per day. Payment can be made upon exit by credit card or cash. No street parking is available.

Lodging

UTHealth's Cooley Center is located near the Texas Medical Center with a number of hotel options available. To assist you in planning your stay, we have provided approximate travel times below. Keep in mind that Houston traffic is typically very busy during rush hours times and is sometimes unpredictable. Please consider this when planning your commute.

• 25-35 minutes from Hobby Airport
• 25-35 minutes from the Galleria area
