Scott Burkhart, PsyD and Jake VanLandingham, PhD.

   
 Dr. Scott Burkhart, Clinical Director of the Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic Regional Sports Concussion Center is a neuropsychologist trained in clinical concussion management and treatment. Dr. Burkhart completed his concussion fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Sports Concussion Program. Prior to his fellowship training Dr. Burkhart completed a residency at Tewksbury Hospital in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Dr. Burkhart completed his graduate and undergraduate training in psychology at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon.

Dr. Jake VanLandingham, Assistant in Medicine, Assistant Professor, Florida State College of Medicine, was the the Assistant Director of the Brain Research Laboratory at Emory University for two years prior to joining the FSU College of Medicine faculty. His training has been focused on the molecular aspects of brain injury and the effects of neurosteroids on recovery following head trauma and stroke. Dr. VanLandingham was a teaching member of the SURE and PROMISE programs while at Emory University, where he trained undergraduates in the arts of molecular biology. He is on the teaching faculty for small groups in multiple courses at the FSU College of Medicine (Years 1 and 2).
