About Entrepreneurial Assistance Center

The Entrepreneurial Assistance Center  assists potential and existing entrepreneurs in the creation and expansion of their business. Through a series of courses, seminars, counseling and technical assistance, participants can maximize their knowledge of business development.

Entrepreneurial Assistance Program (EAP)

EAP is a 10-week business training course that consists of 60-hours of business training and a minimum of ten (10) hours of business counseling. Classes meet online Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-9 p.m. The next course starts October 5th, 2020 to December 16th, 2020. Completion of a business plan is a requirement of the course.

Entrepreneurs will recieve one-on-one counseling assistance, assistance with packaging business loans and peer group support. A major requirement of the training course is the completion of a business plan.

Participants in this program will learn the following business concepts:

• Principles of Entrepreneurship
• Fundamentals of Financial Management
• Management and Operations
• Product Development and Marketing

Cost

Tuition is $300.00, includes textbooks and materials. This payment is due upon acceptance into the program. Payable by check or money order to: Suffolk County Community College - EAP
