Join 100’s of adults who are engaged in helping our children, youth and adults navigate the spiritual life! Start your day with Mass, celebrated by Bishop Kicanas at 8:30 AM, followed by a keynote address from Dr. Ann Garrido followed by workshops before and after lunch! The day concludes at 3PM. Cost: $25 per person (includes lunch).
Alex Barazza –(Spanish Language Workshops) Diocese of Las Cruces, Director of Hispanic Ministry and Youth and Young Adult Ministry
Alejandro Barraza actualmente se desempeña como Director del Ministerio Hispano de la Diócesis de Las Cruces, Nuevo Mexico. El ha servido como líder en la pastoral juvenil de adolescentes y jóvenes por los últimos 25 años a nivel parroquial y diocesano en diferentes parroquias, tanto en inglés como en español. Alejandro es también presentador del Instituto Congar.
Fr. Robert Rankin –St. Melany Byzantine Church, Tucson -Pastor
Ordained in 1980, Father Rankin has pastored Saint Melany ‘Byzantine Rite” Catholic Church in Tucson Arizona since 2002. Father is a graduate of the Jesuit University of Scranton, in Scranton Pennsylvania where he specialized in Church History and Eastern Christian Studies. He then completed his graduate degrees at Charles Borromeo Theologate Seminary in Overbrook, Philadelphia where he received his Masters in Divinity, specializing in Pastoral Counseling and Religious Studies.
Angela Gaetano –Diocese of Phoenix, Director of Parish Leadership Support
Angela is from Bishopville, Maryland, where she grew up with ten siblings on a small farm. She received her B.A. in Philosophy from Christendom College in Virginia in 2005 and studied for a Master’s in Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. She has worked at the parish level in the field of Religious Education, directing parish catechetical programs for children and adults in both Spanish and English, as well as teaching RCIA in Spanish. A life-long Catholic, Angela is passionate and excited about the opportunity to share the gift of faith in Christ with others through evangelization and catechesis.
