In-Depth Child and Adolescent Case Interpretation

Philip Erdberg & Jessica Lipkind

This 4-hour online workshop by Philip Erdberg, Ph.D. and Jessica Lipkind, Psy.D. focuses on on both child and adolescent cases that illustrate the clinical application of R-PAS with this population. Discussion will also highlight the normative data and R-PAS administration with children and teens. Two cases will be reviewed to illustrate how R-PAS was pivotal in answering the referral questions. There will be time allocated for discussions and questions. After enrolling in the workshop, participants will receive a copy of the R-PAS results for these cases in order to familiarize themselves with the case specifics before the workshop. This will not only maximize the time spent in the workshop, but also allow the participants to be more meaningfully involved in discussing the interpretations for the cases. In general, participants will receive training in the principles and procedures for generating interpretive inferences that most closely align with the research literature as they are relevant to work with children and adolescents.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

  1. Summarize the R-PAS principles for accurate interpretation and contrast them with previous models.
